A Bit About Me

I am surface pattern designer who loves to experiment with lots of mixed media. I really enjoy creating texture and layers within my work.

My process of creating begins with me using anything I can find to create marks. This could be gouache paints, sponges and inks to knives and forks...even fruit and veg! Once I have created all these wonderful marks I then start to layer and collage them together before I work on them digitally to create final designs for a pattern collection.

I also have a passion for screen printing and other methods such as heat press dyes. I spend a lot of my time creating fabric samples in the workshop, trying out new things and combining processes to creating exciting results. 

I have recently discovered hand embroidery throughout lockdown and as you can see I have used it a lot in my recent project. 

I hope to continue trying out new processes and techniques to create exciting products to one day sell.
